EastEnders confirms secret for Julie as Nigel grows suspicious – and surprise scenes follow

There’s fresh drama in EastEnders as Nigel begins to suspect that Julie isn’t being entirely honest with him.

In upcoming scenes, Nigel is thrown when Julie takes a mysterious phone call that leaves her visibly uneasy. Her reaction doesn’t go unnoticed, and Nigel starts to wonder whether she’s hiding something from him.

For Nigel, who has only just started to find his footing in Walford again, the secrecy is unsettling. Viewers have seen how fragile he can be under pressure, especially as he struggles to balance the influence of both Julie and Phil Mitchell as the pair continue to butt heads. 

But just as suspicion grows, Julie surprises him with a touching gesture. Keen to lift his spirits, she brings Nigel’s beloved car down to Walford, sparking an emotional moment for him. 

It’s been a turbulent time for Nigel, Julie and their chickens as they settled into Phil’s home. Julie immediately began reorganising Nigel’s life, which clashed with Phil’s approach and ended in tears when Phil revealed the truth of what happened while Nigel was in his care. The revelation shook Julie, but Nigel was left even more stressed by their constant bickering.

On top of that, Nigel accidentally left the chicken coop open, sending Julie’s cockerel on the run, only for the bird to crash Yolande’s hen do in classic EastEnders style.

Now, with Julie’s phone call raising new suspicions, Nigel faces the possibility that there’s more turmoil ahead. Will Julie’s heartfelt gesture be enough to reassure him, or is there more secrecy ahead?
