The Clarkson’s Farm star has been forced to shut down his farm for two months after a Bovine TB outbreak.

The host of Clarkson’s Farm, TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson, has sadly announced the death of one of his puppies and revealed that his farm will be closed for two months due to a Bovine TB outbreak. The 65-year-old TV presenter confessed on Times Radio to Peter Cardwell that he is “not enjoying farming this week” as his Diddly Squat Farm faces turmoil.

During the live broadcast, Jeremy discussed the TB outbreak, describing the past 24 hours as “awful”. He explained: “You have a test every six months on the cows and then you sort of become blasé, it’s a hypothetical threat. And then the vet looks up as he did yesterday lunchtime and said ‘I’m really sorry this one’s failed’.

“So that means we’re now locked down and it’s just dreadful, absolutely dreadful,” he added.

In addition to the lockdown, Jeremy shared the devastating news that one of his puppies had died, telling Peter: “It’s only been not even 24 hours since I found out and it occupies my mind.

“Well it was occupying my mind but I got up this morning and found one of my puppies has died.

“And we’ve got a very sickly calf. Honestly, farming? I’m not enjoying it this week.”

The former Top Gear host confirmed that his Chipping Norton-based farm, Diddly Squat, would be “certainly” shut down for two months, as “that’s how long we have to wait before we do another test”.

However, he reassured listeners that his farm shop would remain “unaffected” by the lockdown, as “it’s only cows that get affected by it”.

Jeremy’s partner, Lisa Hogan, has shared a heart-wrenching video on Instagram following the tragic loss of their puppy, Mr Grey, reports Gloucestershire Live.

She posted: “Sad news this morning. Mr Grey has gone to fur and feather land.”

The clip showed her consoling the grieving mother dog, who was seen protectively sitting with her remaining puppies.

“Poor Mr Grey, I’m sorry darling,” Lisa can be heard saying, as she tenderly strokes the dog’s ears.

Fans of Clarkson’s Farm were quick to offer their condolences in the comments section, with one writing: “Awww bless her [crying emoji] my boy had green collar when we got him this takes me back. Fox reds are the best.” (sic)
