The show gives viewers a glimpse into Clarkson’s life on the sprawling 1,000-acre farm located near Chipping Norton in West Oxfordshire. The success of the show has turned Diddly Squat Farm into a tourist hotspot, drawing visitors every week. With a strong following of 2.4 million on Instagram, the farm welcomes the public from Wednesday to Sunday.
Visitors can browse the farm shop, which offers an array of merchandise and local produce. Although the shop and its vicinity are accessible, the working farm itself – home to crops like barley and wheat, livestock, and honey production – remains off-limits to visitors.
But is it worth making the trip? A visitor named Ashna took to TikTok to spill the beans. She captioned her video: “I went to Diddly Squat Farm and I have a British bone to pick with Jeremy Clarkson.”
However, Ashna had one minor quibble – she had hoped for a celebrity encounter. She quipped: “All I have to say is Clarkson, where were you? We were really hoping to see you. I wanted you to take a picture with my son, so let me know when you’re there next time, thank you.”
Social media users chimed in on Ashna’s adventure, with one advising: “Maybe plan ahead. It’s going to be a popular place leave earlier next time.”
Another remarked: “Maybe he has a life? I’ve never seen Jamie Oliver in his restaurants.”
One even humorously suggested: “He really needs to hire a lookalike to save on disappointment or even some of those cut outs you stand behind the for taking photos.”
Another person chimed in, suggesting: “Jeremy – get a nice big cardboard cut out of yourself.”
Visitors keen on experiencing the location have been cautioned to expect queues. A fan shared their experience, stating: “We went at the weekend it was amazing, but mental. The waiting time was about two hours + for the pub and outside tent. The farm shop we waiting one and half hours.”
