Jeremy Clarkson says ‘it’s a happy way to live’ as he talks ‘separate ways’ with Lisa

Jeremy Clarkson has opened up about his relationship with Lisa Hogan, familiar to fans as his partner on the hit series Clarkson’s Farm.
Viewers have become fond of the pair on the Prime Video series, which documents Jeremy’s journey into farming at his Diddly Squat Farm.

The 65-year-old particularly expresses appreciation for the way the programme portrays him authentically.
“It’s the real me on the farm show,” he remarked. “There’s no Top Gear nonsense. It’s much more relaxing not to play a part.”
Jeremy receives help on his farm from his sidekick Kaleb Cooper, as well as his partner Lisa, who is often seen pitching in at the Diddly Squat Farm Shop.
Reflecting on their work dynamic, he shared: “It’s all good. It’s not like we’re doing the same thing all the time.
“I think it’s a happy way to live, to have breakfast together, go our separate ways, and then you’ve got plenty to talk about in the evening.
“You can go out for dinner and you don’t sit like normal old people, not talking to each other,” he added to The Telegraph.
Lisa and Jeremy’s romance began in 2017 after they crossed paths through mutual acquaintances at a social event.
Five years later, Lisa admitted that while they’re happy together, she had no ambitions to wed or have children with the presenter.
She told Fabulous magazine: “Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan.”
“We’re at a stage where we are not going to have kids,” Lisa added.
“I’m just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it’s much easier. You go, ‘God, is it you I end up with? OK, that’s it’.”
Jeremy has been married two times before, firstly to; Alexandra James, from 1989 to 1990, and then to Frances Cain from 1993 to 2014.
With Frances, he has three children; Emily, 30, Finlo, 27, and Katya, 24.
As for Lisa, she also has three kids with her ex-husband of 30 years, millionaire businessman Baron Steven Bentinck.
Previously reflecting on the early stages of her romance with Jeremy, she admitted she needed time to ensure his intentions were genuine before making things official.
“We’d both come out of quite long-term relationships, and I was really happy being single,” she revealed.
“So I was like, ‘If I’m not going to be single any more, I don’t want to be with a messer’.
“There was [a moment]. I had given myself three months, but it was way before that, where I thought, ‘OK, I really like this person’.”
Lisa went on to say her partner “has a laser brain and will take you down”, adding: “And that’s where the fun and the challenge is with him, trying to take him down.”
