TV icon wants to join EastEnders – but on one very specific condition
Hollyoaks star Ross Adams has revealed that he’d be up for joining EastEnders – but on one condition.
During a recent Instagram Q&A, the actor revealed that if he was to join the BBC soap, it would be ‘non-negotiable’ that his character should be related to the iconic Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).

He also shared a video of himself donning a blonde wig and performing a remix of some of Sharon’s best lines, and it’s safe to say we think he’d make a fantastic Watts!
Ross left Hollyoaks and the role of Scott Drinkwell earlier this year, and his exit storyline left a lot to be desired among fans.
His final scenes saw Scott video call his family from Spain, though fans thought the character deserved a ‘better’ ending.
‘Scott’s exit was kinda dry,’ wrote Ky on Twitter/X. ‘They could of done loads better with that.’
Other fans agreed, with Lauren saying he deserved a ‘better send off’.
Ross replied to one fan’s tweet with his own thoughts, sharing: ‘It wasn’t the exit I wanted for him but I’m so grateful to have played him.’
So, could we be set to see Ross hit Albert Square as a relative of Sharon?
Poor Sharon already has a lot on her plate, with new spoilers revealing that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is set to rumble The Six’s murder secret in upcoming scenes, leaving their future in jeopardy.
Is this the end for them?
For fans eager to see Ross back on the telly, you’ll be pleased to know that he is set to star in the second series of Channel 5’s Good Ship Murder, alongside three Coronation Street icons: Shayne Ward, Catherine Tyldesley and Claire Sweeney.
Announcing the news on X/Twitter, Ross said: ‘Super excited to be able to tell you about what my first job will be after leaving Hollyoaks. Can’t wait for you all to SEA it…’
