Pedro Pascal’s most unforgettable moment features Charles Dance, a seasoned actor who essayed the character of Tywin Lannister. The scene was explained by the former in an interview and it involves Dance walking interrupting an o*gy, a situation that sounds both amusing and awkward.

Yeah, I have many, I will pick one, shooting an o*gy that gets interrupted by Charles. That was one of my favorite days on set. One of the actors, she wouldn’t wear her robe, do you remember?

Along with the scene, Pascal also recalls an extra on the set who simply did not put on her robe even after the scene had ended. They were in the green room when Pascal and David Benioff were engrossed in a game of Words With Friends. Meanwhile, Dance was casually reading the paper and things became increasingly awkward.

So, we’re in the green room you know, and playing Words With Friends or something with David, and Charles is reading the paper, and next to him is a completely naked person. And Charles has the paper and she’s trying to talk with him and he’s like yeah, and he looks up at me and he’s like

Pascal re-enacted Dance’s grunt and sign of disapproval by moving his head from side to side. Even though the incident is somewhat uncomfortable it showcases behind-the-scenes chaos that can unfold even on a high-profile set. The bizarre juxtaposition of stark nudity and casual office-like humor makes this interaction hilariously absurd.

In the main scene from Game of Thrones, Pascal’s character is shown to indulge in the decadent pleasures of King’s Landing. However, he gets interrupted by the brooding Tywin Lannister, who adds a level of intensity to the scene. Dance is known for his stern composure, like a real-life disciplinarian, whereas Pascal seems to be more laid back and relaxed, and their energies perfectly balance each other in the interaction they share on the show.

The incident was shared on Game of Thrones: The Fallen – A Roundtable which provided further context and insight on the making of the series. It primarily focused on the characters who died in the fourth season, along with behind-the-scene stories like the one shared by Pascal. As the actor’s story illustrates, the real-life experiences on the set can sometimes rival the drama on the show itself.

The incident highlights an unpredictable and humorous side of film production. Moreover, Pascal’s recollection of the scene is hilarious and serves as a great anecdote that makes you appreciate the creative and chaotic process behind one of the greatest faring shows.

Game of Thrones is currently available on Max.
